Everone like to see a macro shot with good focus and you have done a nice job on this one..I just don't think the over exposed white petals in the foreground helps it, but maybe that is just me...Good job...Thanks for sharing...

I was mostly concerend about showing the bee face. Do yoy think I should crop out most of the flower & show more background.? I started once to do that But I thought it wouls show more interest, with him moving into it. I do appreciate you comments. Thanks a lot. Willie

Willie, You asked for my opinion and it's not worth much, but here it is. HA!...Sometimes we get a shot that has some really good attributes, but at the same time has an element in it that cannot be overcome..It happens to all of us and I think it is the case here..If you have addaquite resolution, maybe you could crop down to just include the eyes and entitle it, "here is looking at you"....I know it is a wild ideaa, and probably a bad one....I enjoy your pictures....Dale

I was using a macro lens, It is a wonder I didnt get stung. I got a lot of different shots. But I liked this one best. I am just going to let this one sit for a while. I think I'm going to promote the portrait of the old man. Thank you so much for your opinion & honesty.

Good in in focus macro type shot! The blurred background makes the front of the bee and the center of the flower really pop! Thanks for sharing! Cindy

wow! this is superb! the detail on the eye and head, the way you have the glint on the top of the eye and macro'd the rest out! well worth the 5 and a half stars I have given you! well done!
