Initial impact; He has been here before. Lighting is great. Action carrying off the find. Bird Feeding presentation. Color harmony is good. Center of interest is the bird. Cropping is good. Focus is sharp. Depth of field has blurred the background out which is good.
Story telling is in the title and artist's notes.

He is getting feed a good variety of foods. Great shot.

You are most welcome. If I had to say one thing, Next time consider leaving a little more room on the side of the shot. Leave the bird some breathing room as I call it.

Nice capture and good background. Lighting and colors look nice. The stump sure has lot of seeds for them. Your bird colors and details are nice. Love that eye and beak with the seed. 'Enjoyed.

You are welcome. We have a bird feeder where my cat can watch from a window. Good entertainment for her.

ahh willie :) this is lovely!!

where to start.

lighting - very well controlled, allowing for wonderful color and detail to pop out at the viewer

composition - fantastic... love that you kept the entire bird in frame and did not cut off any of the tail... would have wrecked it. :)

focus - very nicely done... i am guessing you were using a tripod for this one.. if not, you have very steady hands and i would like to borrow them :)

the DOF is fantastic and you have used the functions of your lens the way it was meant to be used. both rear and frontal bokeh are entirely in keeping with the subject.

wonderful capture and piece of art. anyone who loves birds would be pleased to add this to a collection. would also make a fantastic spot on a fall calender.

thank you for sharing a true photograph :)

Excellent photo, perfect timing to capture this lovely bird with the seed in the beak. Great focus and depth of field, blurred background made the bird look even more beautiful. Thanks for sharing this beauty.

They are, along with the chic-a-dee usually the first ones you see on the feeders. I love feeding the birds, & having the opertunity to see them up close and personal. Thanks again.
