I didn't know that. I love the flower and the birds like its seeds but the farmers hate the weed.

Beautiful photo of this lovely butterfly and great thistle flower, I love it. Excellent focus and depth of field and most beautiful colors. It would be even better without the grass in the background, but that's something you could manage only when taking the photo of the flower without the butterfly, here it was impossible to avoid. Thanks for sharing this beauty.
