Such wonderful detail here. Both in the blossom as well as in the subject. Good initial impact. Good focal point, and depth. Good background creating contrast. The colors are good. The focus is immaculate, seeing the tongue and almost the segments of the eye. A very wonderful image.

Beautiful skipper and the flowers are pretty unique also. Color, contrast, lighting and composition are all done very well. Perhaps clone out the white area at the top as it is distracting. Not much else to do but set back and enjoy look at this fine photograph. Thanks for sharing.

This... I consider, a good image. Details from Highlight to shadows in the background, and blacks with detail, give it a full tonal range.

A challenge for an artist can be to make their work look as good online as the original subject or better.
Reviewers review what we see, as my time is limited, have only time to review, subjects or images I like and then try to give helpful suggestions.
Sharpening is important.
Any changes in a digital, even re-sizing causes a loss of sharpening. So final sharpening after all changes are made, can make them look the way we want...
The only suggestion that I could give you about your work, is that a bit of sharpening would give this more punch. It would really make the insect POP, and bring the blossom into focus.

I found the name. It is called button bush. go to google and type it in. It is an unusual flower.
