There is wonderful expression here on the child face. You have caught a really great moment. The details and reflections in the eyes is nice. The small farrow in the forehead gives an intrigue into what Maya is thinking. The back story is really touching and adds some depth to the image. I may like to have seen a little more of her face on the left so I could see the crease of the the eye end. Over all very nice image good luck in the competition.

Thank you for your kind review and wishes. I would have liked some more face too but someone walked into the photo. The whole village comes if we are there with a doctor some helpful supplies.

Makes you wonder what is behind that expression. What is she thinking? What does she think about life, about her life? What is ahead in her future? I love the capture you have here. I like the angle of your subject, and the clarity and focus. Thank you for sharing this one.

You are welcomed I really enjoyed the picture

Initial impact; A very serious looking face at such a young age. Lighting is ambient outdoors light making the face soft. Action staring off somewhere. Young child presentation. Color harmony is good. Center of interest is the cute face. Cropping is good and brings drama to the shot. Focus is sharp. Depth of field not in effect in this shot. Story telling is in the title and artist's notes.

What will she be in a few years?

Eyes can tell a story , theres a feeling of sadness .
Lighting , balance , color, and inial impact , cropping was a little tight but I am sure there was a reason . Well done thanks for sharing.

I am overwhelmed by the emotion in her eyes.
It is so deep and does not belong to the little kid like her.
I like the expressiveness so much. It is compelling.
Thank you for sharing.
