I've seen this bowl before! It had tomatoes in it, right? I really like your idea here but I think if you had look down more on the rose you would have caught the reflection in the bowl also and that would have added to the shot.

This is very nice. The simple set up and composition work well for it, giving it, when seen along with the dark contrasts and faded edges, a somewhat moody feel. Almost lonely or significant.

Good idea that has a good initial impact as I tried to figure out what I was looking at. It has a nice COI and good color harmony. The detail is fine also. Good idea!
