It was a very good idea too.
I love that you have made it black and white and just added colour to the rose.
The colours compliment each other very well.
Nice focus.
I probably would have removed the faded petal and cloned out the light bit on the front of the bowl edge. On the whole though, I really like this.

Alittle glare in this shot. The focus is right on the rose which is nice. I like the contours of the bowl which match the rose petals in shape. Good work

Simple idea, but very complex result! You have great depth with the reflections in the bowl. Love the curve of it's rim. Nice color tones, the rose really pops. Smoky edges are lovely.

I believe this is the creative end of what we try to do, and you certainly succeeded here. colors provide great contrast, and the placement of the rose seems critical to the overwhelming success of your capture. I was quite taken with the very subtle reflection of the rose on the leading edge of the bowl. very nicely done.
