The challenge for a photographer, is to make their work look as good or better online, as the original subject. For reviewers can only review, what we see.

Sometimes we just need to use an advanced editor. Its the only way to make a Photo look you desire.

To have others see it as we do, it can only be done on a calibrated monitor. Using color managed browsers, like Firefox. When a reviewers monitor is also calibrated, we both see the same thing. Your image is spectacular!

You have good composition, though the rose is close to the left has some impact. The light area grabs attention.

Sharpening is important.
When we edit digital images, even resizing causes a loss of sharpness. Final sharpening makes them look the way we want... it can also increase contrast a bit.

You might experiment with some sharpening of the Rose before adding a border. Have not decided if it would help or not.

Amazing photograph. I would never have guessed you had done it this way. Great idea and a great story on how you did it. Colors used are very good. Composition is well done. All the technical work is right on the mark. Nice look to such a unique idea. Thanks for sharing.
