Yes, she is at that. I had been trying to get a good one of both our cardinals, but they would cooperated. Lucky you. Focus is very good. Framing is very well done. I would give you more, but don't have it. But it is really a beautiful shot especially in the pine tree.

A challenge for an artist can be to make their work look as good online as the original subject or better. Reviewers review what we see. Dont remember bird that has been done better in the past month.

This bird is indeed a beautiful model, and you have captured the shot here really well. The bird is perfectly framed by the circular movement of the branches and greenery creating a swirl around the bird which is extremely effective. This is softly focussed to good effect while the bird itself, the main subject of interest is well lit and pin sharp focus.

Yes, I think this is a beautiful model, and pose. I don't think I have ever seen a better photo of a female cardinal.

Very sharply focused, with a sharp eye. Her colors and detail looks so lovely. The background helps here so much.

I don't get to see Cardinals anymore [one of my few regrets about moving from Southern Ontario] and you have captured this young lady nicely. The tree branch frames her beautifully so you get away with centering her and having her look out of the frame. Exposure and focus are both very good. Good luck in the contest
