This is an amazing picture the way you caught the heron like this. They are such beautiful birds. The way you caught him with his wings like this. I think he is really telling you off for disturbing him. An excellent picture.

Great job. The composition is well done, as are the lighting & colours.

Excellent timing with capturing the moment too. My only complaint is that it looks a bit unnatural. Mainly the background. Sorry, just looks a bit off somehow. Apart from that, this is a great shot. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much. The lake is frozen and this was the only open water. He will have plenty of places to go when it thaws.
