It's another great journalistic photograph because it has a story to tell. The message is strong and clear. The colors are soft and muted yet give a very cold feel to them. The snow really does the job for directing the story to the viewer. Great presentation and good story.

Poor thing, he looks cold. It is wonderful how nature lets the animals warm themselves in the winter by fluffing up their feathers. The pigeon has pretty colors in him. You picked a pretty one. Focus is very good. Feathers have a lot of detail. Framing is well done. Great story.
