Great looking shot. Fine example of wild life photography.I love the way he is looking at you through the corner of his red eye! As if to say "do something!" Your timing appears to be perfect and you have captured the huddled colourful pigeon very well.
Well done!

I think the details you captured on the bird itself is very good. I think that is v both in the lighting and focus, nice clarity on his feathers and good crispness there in the various shapes and form of the bird. Two things that to me need to be improved are; the tight crop needs a little more negative space to get a better balance between him and the background, he looks squeezed into the frame. And the second is the background needs to be a little darker, that brightness is a slight detractor to the flow of the image as I'm seeing it. I it were the shade, hue as the striped area, see arrow, it would have better color balance, and be more in harmony with the birds coloring. If you did that the fade out along the edges would not be needed, which to me does nothing to enhance the image or presentation.

Thank you very much. You are right, apart from one thin. I had to crop it tight. If not the pigeon would be surrounded by "half" birds

This poor little creature really does look very cold, with his feathers all puffed up! Makes him look quite fat, but I wonder if in fact he may be quite skinny. You have captured the detail of his feathers really well, lovely colours.

Very good job. Unusually large for a pigeon I think. Nicely composed shot, but I think you cropped a bit much. Can't really see much of its surroundings.
On the other hand, you captured a great amount of detail in the bird, which is great. The colours are an unusual mix with the snow which make it interesting. Nice job.

Thank you very much. Almost everytinh is done for a reason. If I had not cropped that much, he would have surrounded with "half" birds.

My goodness, this guy is trying to get warm, for sure. Excellent details, and the red feet, purple feathers, and orange eye all pop. Very nice, thanks for sharing

I love this. I feel sorry for the subject, but I think your capture is nothing short of perfect, right down to the most minute detail of the eye! spot-on focus and dof, and color to die for! This is wonderful, and thank you for sharing.

Wow, this poor fellow looks so cold it almost makes me sad for him! This is a tremendous shot, though. Good focus and center of interest.
