Great job with this one. I love how you have him standing there all tall and proud.
Color, focus and lighting are really good. Technically very good . Great initial impact. Really good detail on his feathers. I love his marking they are a little different. Beautiful presentation. Thanks for sharing.

It's a cracking shot. Just as well you persevered. You've got good detail and a very sharp eye in the heron. It stands out well from the watery background too. Nice job!

hi willie. great job on this great blue. textures are sharp and very detailed. water is nicely softened. colors are saturated well. definition sharp. technique great. especially good exposure on a rainy day, overcasts can play havoc. impact very good. thanks for posting.

This is a very good shot of a heron. Seems to be a very popular bird. It is so many photos posted of that bird. However, this is very crisp and clear, and the use of light is good. In your effort to sharpen it you left the background a bit grainy. It is a nice composition and well balanced.

Boy! What some people will do for the picture! I'm glad yu did, as this is a great picture, wonderfully captured, one in a million, with the raindrops all around, and his feathers plastered down.

Thank you so much! I have taken hundreds of this guy and his buddies. I have some where he is catching fish and jumping and flying. If you look in my potfolio you can see some more. I will be posting more in time. I don't want folks to get tired of the same old stuff!
