WOW! What a great looking macro shot. The focus and sharpness is awesome. One can count the feathers on this chap! Looks as though he has a pipe in his beak! Very well times and composed this is first rate bird photography.

This is a beautiful close up. It is really crisp and clear and so well focused that you can count its feathers. Great initial impact, and lovely colors. The use of light is perfect. The beak and sunflower seed is a bit soft. The background is lovely. This is a lovely composition and the image is well balanced.

Great portrait, perfect timing to capture the bird eating seeds:) Great lens, hope mine will arrive soon. Details in the feathers are perfectly clear, do you remember how far the bird was when you took this shot, I'm just curious waiting for the lens. Thanks for sharing.

Another great close up willie. Really getting some great detail far above the normal. Great angle looking into the camera as well. Thanks for sharing. Looks like you better start serving low fat seeds, bird looks to be getting heavy. LOL

Thanks so much! It is funny when the feeder is empty, they sit in the trees and watch for me to put more out. When I do I hit the pan to make a noise, as soon as I am out of sight, here they come!
