I love the overall impact that hits you right between the eyes. The rich reds the golds and the strong lines of the window frame and the pattern on the curtains. I find the lack of focus disturbing though. The DOF chosen has given a fine bokeh, but it has left the main objects in to soft a focus for my eyes.

Very nice pic with the Christmas light! I can only imagine this picture during daytime with the snow as a background!
Try to put on the flash when even taking pictures of lights - i found the reflections of the lights much more sharp! Dont worry about the distance - it will work!

This is really a lovely Christmas picture. It is really colorful to view. I love the red and yellow together. The lighted star really makes for a wonderful picture. The red and black curtain makes a nice framing.
