I really like this, as there is so much to see when we look. You have captured this feeling of adventure. I once got down close and looked at the tundra in central Alaska and was amazed at what I saw. Thanks for keeping that memory alive. This is the world where small creatures live and flourish. Thanks for sharing this with us.

This is excellent Annie. The fact you have everything in focus gives the viewer soo much to absorb. Great depth of field. The clarity & contrast are both excellent. Fantastic tonal range with the greens & browns. Angle is very good having the cone resting of centre set. The xposure is striking & has given you a full dynamic range. Focus is brilliant. Certainly one of your best. Quality shot. Well done

this is such a cool shot of the beauty that is under our feet as we walk through wooded areas .. thank goodness for little boys who open our eyes to the greatness around us (and little girls too). this is lovely and I do so appreciate it. thanks for sharing .. good job .. jill

Yes, it's a whole world down there; I remember I wish to be so small to walk between flowers and cones and leaves, it's so colored and there are so many textures...great capture.

I also like the texture & detail in the leaves. Nice work.
There's plenty to look at, the leaves, the pine cone, & sticks for instance. All interesting to look at.
