Great shot!
Your patience was certainly rewarded!
The focus is so sharp - I love the detail on this guy, and to capture him as he breaks the ice to land his catch is amazing!
Lighting and composition are both perfect.
There's nothing about this that I would change.

The great blue heron one of the worlds greatest fisherman. very wary birds lucky to get a close up like that. centered to the left side which I particularly like.
