Aww thank you for such a generous rating. Its nice to know these old pieces are still being looked at. I did this for Valentines day. I had recently sold my sunset in the serengeti so thought it would be nice to put it back into this card and put the giraffes in as well. It was the pic that inspired the author of Cedric to come up with a story so this has a special little place in my heart.

Corrina this is a wonderfully planned and constructed image. I love that you have incorporated the elephants in the background and I also love the rich red colours. Perfect for Valentine's Day.

It's gorgeous, I love it! Absolutely love the color palette warm and inviting. The giraffes are adorable and how perfect to put the sunset and elephants in the middle creating a beautiful perspective and lighting! Gorgeous piece, you have great technique with pastels and I love the addition of the colored pencils and the charcoal. I'd give it more stars if I had them. Congratulations on the sale of the other sunset it was gorgeous too!

Aww thanks Michelle, I needed a quick fix so dragged the old pastels out again. I have a love hate relationship with them, they are quite limiting and very messy but oh so quick to produce :)

Hey, this is sooooooooooooooooooooooo adorable. Giraffe hearts in the warmth of nature and love. I love the redange colours, so warm. Sure wish i were one of those giraffes. What a heavenly place to experience love. I like it also that one has the eyes shut and the other one the eyes open, like really looking forward to that kiss :-) ADORABLE!

This is delightful to look at. The artwork is creative, and the colors are bright and cheery. The red background is a great setting as it enhances the other vibrant colors seen. This would be very nice as a Valentine card illustration.

The more I look, the more interesting elements I see! I love the trees and the birds flying around, and the grasses are gorgeous. Very sweet message, how creative that the giraffes formed a heart ~ I truly believe that only you, Corrina, with your wonderful creative mind, could have come up with that!
