A good clear photo with a nice blurred out background. The colours are great, especially the facial features which show up the freckles well. Young lads are very good at this facial pose, they never seem to want to smile and always have a glum look. Having said that, he might have been told not to smile and I'm sure your grandson is a happy smiling young man. The only part of the picutre that looks awkward is his left arm/shoulder, it looks a little hunched up compared to his right side. It doesn't look as comfortable as his right side. If his left arm would have been back, rather than forward, the pose possibly would have looked better. Still a very nice shot. Well done!

What a beautiful child. Picture was well taken with perfect field depth and appealing background. My only small critique is a little photoediting to remove the shine on the face that is a tad distracting. Overall composition is very good and presented very well. Love the casual pose and natural expression.
