Willie this is a great picture. I have tried to get similar but shutter lag on my camera means i have to anticipate and lets say its not worked out. This demonstrates to me really good photographic technique and technical ability. Patience probably as well to wait for the right moment.
Crisp and sharp, great expression on the bird, colour balance spot on and very nicely cropped.

this is full of your usual quality. the sunflower seed gives it a perfect sense of scale and also an extension to his beak. for close up bird photography you have no match. really well done willie, he's a fine and handsome fellow.
