What a cool shot! Love this birds face, and it it almost looks like he has a mustache! OOr even a couple little teeth. Great detail and focus. Love the lins in his feathers on the top of his head!

Your photos of birds are so nice. This one is no exception. The close up is well executed and shows good technical skills. Nice use of light and nice colors. The neutral background makes your bird pop. Pin sharp and nice textures in the feathers. Lovely shiny eye. Very nice composition.

Excellent shot! The bird's not the only fast thing around: you must have been equally as fast to get such a fine shot! Great initial impact and centre of interest; excellent focus, love the incredible detail you can see in the feathers on the top of his head. And getting him with a seed in his mouth was very well timed! Good use of natural lighting, nice cropping to emphasise the subject, and great story telling ability. Well done! Thanks for sharing, it's a really nice photo.
