That is a great story Willie. I think they always out last us particularly Terriers they seem to have boundless energy. A friend had a Jack Russell and that dog was like it was supercharged. Great shot of Bertie she's just waiting for you to get that ball you can see it in her eyes. Dave

Bertie is a gorgeous girl though she could use a good manicure (perhaps she could get one with Jandalay;s daughters). Beautiful shot of this lovely dog. Love the expression and love her little paw on the red ball. Well captured, composed and executed.

Thank you so very much! My daughter gives her a trim from time to time. I guess now that you mention it she could use a trim!

Wow, great capture! I can hear her growling now! I think she would win against anyone!

Great details and clarity, great focus, nice story elements with the ball! I think she makes a very great sweetie of a pet! Plus, she runs the deer off ~ she should get extra treats for that!

Good luck with the contest!

Aww...how can you resist that face? Love the expression on her face; she's ready to chase that ball again! Great coloring and lighting. The red ball adds a cool pop of color.

Wouldn't dare say no to Bertie! My little 3 1/2 lb. Yorkie is smarter. She knows when it is 5 PM and brings me the ball and says (in French) "Time to quit work and play with me".

I have never owned a yorkie but I know they are cute. At 3 1/2 lbs she is not much more than a hand full. Is she grown? Bertie is the first boston we've had. Great little dog only 20lbs.

Rudy is full grown and 9 years old but still a puppy. There is a cute shot of him in my portfolio.

Well - I wouldn't want to take it off her! Cute picture and interesting lighting. Whilst it works in some respects, in terms of highlighting the dog's features, it has also created a few harsh shadows. Was it direct flash or diffused? Nice pic though.
