Good portrait. Lovely clear eyes which draw you in. Her hair frames her face nicely and she has provided a nice natural, relaxed and happy expression. Good use of flash and background nice and simple. Well done.

great shot, external flash? meaning remote at different angle? Light is good, no harsh shadows.
Focus is good,

Thank you so very much! I is an electronic flash that fits in the hot shoe. What should I call it?

no thats fine, just a on camera versus a built in , got it, the light angle looked like that, thats all. Remote is where your flash is off camera at a different angle than the camera.
