This is a great shot Willie I am sitting here chuckling. It must have been a little cold fishing for him. Had a good shutter speed got just enough blur to emphasize the shaking.

Nice shot Willie. Good angle on the Heron and good lighting. Perhaps you have a great vertical here and would be able to make a larger image to see his detail. Thanks for sharing.

You are the king when it comes to herons! Another lovely uncluttered shot. I love the simplicity of it and its that which makes such a strong image. Harmonising shades of grey all work well together too. I like the heron's body feather's all puffed up but maybe not quite so keen on the head and neck. I appreciate he was having a shake but maybe it needed a faster shutter speed as it just looks blurred - had you not told us what was going on. Still very enjoyable though.
