I like your note. And to me it looks like Trouble is thinking of what kind of trouble she could get into next. Or maybe Trouble is thinking that rat rhyms with cat and Trouble is keeping her eyes open in case one comes along.
It is a great picture and the colors are nice and sharp and Trouble is a beautiful cat.

I like the placement of her paw..very nice and cute, and a bit sly. Some cultures believe that people who commit suicide are reborn as a four legged animal, to learn..perhaps she was a former poet! lol. Donkeyoatey

I liked the placement of her paw too, except for the fact she was preventing from writing. LOL I don't know who was the poet that day, her or me. I got a nice picture though and you can't beat that. I always have my camera with me because you never know when shots like this are going to happen. Thanks for the wonderful review and the info about other cultures, both made me smile. Helvi

Very nice composition, I like the way the cat is looking away from you and is in profile: I think it adds to the impact of the photo. The white table is a little overexposed, but your focus on the cat is nice and sharp. Love the crossed paws! Good centre of interest and initial impact, definite story telling ability, supported by your informative and amusing artist's notes. Many thanks for sharing, it's a really cute photo :)
