I think you're ging to hate me one of these days... just kidding... but what did you do this floers ? Did you put a light on the back ? Shutter speed 30 ??? Aperture 14 ??? Why 400 ISO ? And most important, why use a 70-300 lens ????? Please don't take my words wrongly... it's just that the parameters you've used do not make sense but, please feel free to ask me any questions you may find pertinent. I am just trying to understand and help, if I can...

I agree about the lens. Should have changed that. I did put a light behind the flower. I tried out several options when it comes to ISO, and the 400 worked best for what I wanted to achieve. I took the shot into a dark room. The only light was from the light behind the flower. Hence shutterspeed and AP. How would you have taken it ? Thanks for the review.

Dearest Annie, did you use a tripod ? If you did, you just need to adjust shutter speed and use ISO 100. The light in the back burns the yellow totally. therefore, you have several options : lower ISO, more DOF (though 14 is already a lot....) or a higher shutter speed. Also a macro lens would help. It is hard to give you parameters without being there, but the ones +you have used are not really good. But please feel free to put any questions you want. If I can be of any help, I will like it. I, too, had the same difficulties you are experiencing now :) Take care. Ana

I am going to by a macro lens on Wednesday. I think I need it. I did use a tripod. Thank you very much for your help. I appreciate it. If I have any qustions I will come back and ask. Annie

Please do !!!! I will be available... and please, try to buy a macro lens with the biggest possible apperture... an F2.8 is a good choice :)
