He he yeah I literally did this in the garden while I was just sitting back thinking if summer being just around the corner... I love summer ;) I really enjoy doing these cartoon studies as you can be a s silly as you like,its good to let the big kid in you out now and again ;)

Thanks Linny, I was in a very summery mood when I drew it, its been gorgeous hasn't it! Lets hope it lasts out for Easter. Ooh I really hope so, we will see eh, its a close shave. Have a lovely Easter

Very cute! All kids from 1-101 including me, will love that! I love these cherfull summer colors as much as the individual characters enjoying summer, sun and a day of in their individual ways.

Sure we are kids. We just have changed toys to pens and colors, brushes and cameras etc. :-)

yes a very well conceived image, mixing a typical family scene, with some super cute cat and dog characters. your style is being honed to perfection, as it crosses between childlike innocence, over to a more adult humor. it's all in the facial expression.

Thanks for the review Vincent. I am so pleased you said that, thats exactly what I am trying to do, to appeal to adults and children a like and capture a silly and feel good factor. I absolutely love disney films, especially the pixar ones. I just sit through them chuckling away, pure genius how they create the characters. Thats what Im trying to achieve with the illustrations, something fun and silly. I'm a bit like Jekyl and Hyde aren't I lol
