Thank you very much. I appreciate your review. The black background was nicely given by nature. Jungle nights are dark.

Quite amazing, this flower. Too bad such a beautiful thing is kind of wasted in the night? You did a great job capturing, however. Good job with the flashlight! Very pretty.

Thank you very much. Wasted? Not much more people would see it at day time. Not many people venture into the jungle.

Something different I have seen from you. Excellent photo with very good composition. Love the black background as it makes the flower very clear. Focus and details are superb. Well worth the wait. Good luck with the contest. Thanks for sharing.

We have seen a lot of cactus blooms on here of late..many look like paintings, many are over saturated, but few have such a natural grace and look to them as yours..this is superb, from the composition, the way you have shown us beauty from the not so pretty thorny stalk, and the delicate piecce at the top..this is simple, yet darn elegant! Thank you. You can't imagine what your positive review means to me. Thank you. Yes that beauty is natural. It is a wild queen and I want to show her wild beauty as it is, including the stingy plant only a mother [or nature lover] could love. I like it this way best.
Thank you for the homer of six stars.

Thank you. Over the fence? hmm...A very high fence. That beauty chose to hang in the brushes ten feey above me.

Beautifully done! I caught one of these in the early morning as it was starting to fold up. Great tones in a solid composition. She is indeed the queen of the night. Wonderful lighting captures the viewer. Thank you for sharing this. Travlin1

Thank you very much for your review and the wishes. Your reviews are always special to me.
It is fascinating to see these blossoms open. You can stay awake all night and won't get sleepy wile that wonder unfolds.I have some more located. One will bloom in my own garden on a plant I rescued years ago when they build the highway. I just hope the weather won't kill them. We have a draught and extreme wind worse than I ever remember.

Oh, that is no good. We had a huge thunderstorm last night and it is still raining here--I will hope that some of this refreshing liquid sunshine finds its way to you. It is lilac time--yesterday the bush at school was opening and scenting the air! Love Lilacs. Mine seem to be a little slower but probably this next week--oh and my new Golden Retriever puppy is coming home today! He is just 7 weeks old. I am so excited to get him into my arms :)

These are very exiting news. Congratulation to your new puppy! I cant wait to see his pictures. The lilac will bloom just in time too well the pup home. I love Lilac to but they wont grow here. We have a tree looking a little bit alike but it dos not smell.
We still haven't any rain. I hasn't rain;t significantly since last years Halloween. We may have a chance tomorrow but it looks if it won't come much farther south than Cancun.
have a nice weekend with xxx. What is the name of you puppy? :-)

Oh that is a long time without Rain. I think I have settled on Ryder. I was leaning toward River, but Ryder seems to fit him better :) He is just a little chubby angel --I am so happy to have him home with me. I knew he was the one the minute I saw him and he knew to came right over and sat down at my knee looking up at me! It has been a very good weekend--puppy cuddles and kisses always make me feel better.

That's exact the right connection. Both of you know in an instant you are right for each other. Ryder is a pretty name :-)
We had an electrical storm with lighting and thunder yesterday, lost the power but not for too long. We even had some rain drops, adding up to about 5 drops of a square yard. Maybe its a good sign.
All the best, Lucky is sending a ruff, ruff welcome to the Happy Dog Society to Ryder.
