Wow! Great work and quite a fantasy piece. I like the colors you have used and the action is apparant in the art. The bats do look like they are flying. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Your work is always so enjoyable to first,figure out and then to read your notes and techniques you use is the second most interesting thing.I do like very much the swirling in this one an yes,they dooery much like butterflies.
Very unique and quite enjoyable view!

I love the colors in the swirl, hot and very , very three dimensional. I have bad taste in music, and oddly enough was listening to Meatlof's "Bat out of hell 2" when I opened this! I love the bats, and the way you kept the spots from the orchids on them..that is a really nice touch..I also like the way you have them ascending from the pit! This is a super image! Donkeyoatey

That's TOO funny! LOL Little did you know WHERE the music was going to take you! It's almost as if you were suppose to see this. Sounds like a GOOD sign for me ,but PLEASE be careful to what you're listening to! Talk about music BURNING your ears...hope they didn't get singed! Thanks for the GREAT review! :o) Helvi

Hi kmcw53, I used two photos to create this. For the spiral in the center I used a flaming fire in the fireplace and swirled it. The bats were the center and two side petals of an orchid. I'm glad you enjoyed this and appreciate the wonderful review. :o) Helvi

I like the colors you used , the blue and brownish gold effect has a nice natural look to it. ( some of natures primaries ).
Seeing as how they are coming from Hell, I buy the ":Bat " theory . instead of Orchids.
