What a great shot of a gorgeous bird! I love the detail you got of his coloring and the beautiful blue feathers on the top of his back and on his chest. The combination of the rocky shore and the lake water behind him makes a great backdrop!

This is the best Heron photo I have ever seen. The pose is great and perfect. The lighting is just perfect and the only thing we can not change is the depth of field. Wonderful photo and it make a super presentation. Thanks for sharing and good luck in your contest.

Lovely shot of some sort of heron I'd guess. Good sharpness throughout, being picky I would have cloned out the bright stick in the water or toned it down so that it doesn't catch the eye. Good luck in the contest, thanks for sharing.
