What a macro! Personally, I haven't been so successful in macro shooting.

I commend you on the bee portrait shot. Man, I can see by this Bee's eyes that he is kind and has personality!

Congratulations on composition and sharpness!

Nice capture!!Very good detailing of the bee. One of the best shots of a bee I've seen. You have got some softness too which compliments the overall of the photo. Well done, patience paid off in the end.

like the composition and the way the bee is almost looking at you. the color contrast is good and the surroundings are almost dreamy like. great work.

As someone who has a great interest in Macro photography (mostly flowers) I know how difficult it can be to photograph insects, butterflies etc as they do not remain still for very long. I think you have made a fantastic job on this one!

This is the first bee photo where I have had the feeling that it was looking right at me, with something like intelligence. Very interesting. Not your standard macro, not enough sharp detail, but that may be why the bee's looking back at me draws me in. The black background keeps my eye in the center of the photo. If you'd had a busy background it would have been just another be photo.

This is a stunning picture the way you took it so close up of this bee. The detail you see is amazing, I like the way you added the vignette. That just makes the lighted area where the bee is show up that much better. An excellent and interesting picture. You should be proud of this one. It is a great picture.

Wow this is a fantastic macro shot and proud you should bee pardon the pun...Fab detail, perfect lighting and well framed..Initial impact awesome. The eye immediately drawn to the eye of the bee with that glass like marble look enhanced further by an electic blue that glistens perfectly and the wings give a mother of pearl like shimmer due to good lighting....great shot
