You have captured a really unique moment on film here. It does well at catching and captivating the eye. Great tonal balance. You have a good amount of light and dark tones, an even mix of gray tones and I particularly like the stark contrast of lighting on the girls leg and arm. Very dynamic.
I am not fan of these vignettes. I am seeing a lot of people using these on this site, and I just haven't seen one photograph that is enhanced as a result of that faded border. It takes away from the highlight on the girls lower hand and the wave as it washes in and it disrupts the contrast in the pebbles on the beach and with the back of the girls shirt against the rocks. I feel like I am missing part of this photo now.
Your details are very crisp and the focus is very clean. The imaginary lines created by the contours of the girls figure, the lines on the beach and the shadows all lead the eye around the work and not away. Great composition there. I like too that the girl is off-centered. Rule of 3rd? I'm tired of hearing people say that but it's true.
You captured a really nice moment here and it is obvious that you not only have a good eye but good sense in the editing bay. "Moody" conveys just that and your execution with this photo is nearly flawless. I am looking forward to seeing what else you have been able to get on film and look forward to reviewing your work in the future!

I really like the expression on this face, the shadows cast by here hair on her legs, the vignetting works well on the this composition. The rather course pebbles on the beach is a lovely effect. The bottle put a bit of mystic into the photo. Nicely done.

A girl after my own heart as i was never afraid to get dirty. Nice emotion piece and technique in the matte as it makes her stand out as the center of interest. Makes you wonder just what she's thinking and what she's doing with the bottle. Very Nice Job

Very nice photograph. I like how the blurred border gives it a very nostalgic feeling. Also, I like how the depth of field gives the viewer the feeling that there is more going on, but at the same time keeps almost all of the focus on the girl collecting the stones. Very nice capture and a wonderful mood.

You are right. Her expression is priceless! I love the dof here and the people in the back really add to this. The use of vignette was a great idea! :)

This is wonderful the way you have done it. I like the black and white. You wonder what she is thinking the way she is looking at that bottle. An excellent picture.

Excellent capture of this young girl, with first class framing and focus. Good use of the vignette, which does indeed emphasise the contemplative look of concentration.
