I'm not a traditional artist but saw this and was intigued.You spoke of one woman Sophie,yet in this painting,I see many more people than just you and her.Eyes in different places,trees growing from thje top of the dresser etc.This has a touch of Picasso in it and to me is more abstract than expressive.Very colorful,which was quite enjoyable for the view.Thanks for sharng it.

the lady had a gentleman living there to keep the flat safe as she often had to travel inland. For this she allowed him the spare place and he kept order when she was away..It was her grandparents flat, their presence was very strong! Where ever you looked out of the window you saw massive black russian forests. In the winter bears would come right up to the dustbins and foxes howled at night. It was just amazing! Thanks

Just wow!Atttention to detail is a 10 +, love your use of colours, they are always so bold, love the abstraction in the faces, there is just so much going on in this but in this its a good thing because it pulls you in.fantastic peice!
