I keep finding myself drawn to flowers (yet I keep telling folks I don't like floral pictures).
This is a very unique and beautiful rendition of roses. I love the back framing...simple yet complimentary to the color of the roses. I like the green stems. Although they don't look natural in color, the color really works in this image.
I love the gentle folds of the pedals and the directional lighting.

It's a good thing you felt creative when you did , this is a beautiful , sensitive piece ! I particularly like the antique feeling to it , the colour hues are so soft and very complimentary to your subject .. I think the composition is also well balanced and do the photo justice ..
