The sharpness of the raindrops & their reflections smid the fine hairs of the poppy is amazing. Focus & depth of field is great & the subdued green of the background help bring out the main subject. Great photo.

Comments: I never knew rain drops could be so beautiful. Great shot. It looks like the fuzz on the poppy bud actually captured a bunch of diamonds. I am not normally a fan of closely cropped pictures. This is an exception it was the only to tell the story. Thank you for your detailed set of artist notes, Great Camera Information and wonderful camera settings. They are text book perfect. Thanks for sharing.

I like the photo. The creativity is great. The water droplets do look like diamond. That was my first thought with out reading you notes.
The framing is good and the photo has a great center of interest.
What I don't care for is that you softened it to much. The vignette could have been a little smaller on the bottom let its to dark.
Thanks for sharing . Still going to five you that 5 against my better judgment.
Thanks Lou

I did not soften any part at all. The camera did that by focusing on th COI, the diamonds. Thank you for thr revirw

This is perfect. I love the olive green color. Framing is good and those rain drops are real diamonds. Well done. Good luck with the contest.

Wonderful capture of the smooth and glass like water droplets in contrast to the texture of the poppy bud. Like the corner composition and the background greens are soft and complimentary to the plant and "uncut diamonds". Perfect title.
