Oh man - this is a different league! An all time great. It could almost be an oil painting. Unbelievable - you can't just hide this one away, enter as many competitions as you can and start selling it too! Terrific colours, great reflection, and superbly sharp. Not seen anything like it! I really like the color scheme within this photo, and the reflection of the Heron in the water. I like the textures of the greens by the ripples in the water and the reflections of the trees, great difference in the greens there very eye appealing. The Heron looks good, I am feeling he is a little out of focus and that is a slight detractor to the image, but overall I like the colors, the balance between the warmer colors of the bird and the cooler colors of the water, and how he is reflected there.

I really like the color scheme within this photo, and the reflection of the Heron in the water. The Heron looks good, I am feeling he is a little out of focus and that is a slight detractor to the image, but overall I like the colors, the balance between the warmer colors of the bird and the cooler colors of the water, and how he is reflected there.

Colors are great, nice capture before he soared too high for his reflection to still be available. Great pose with his wings at the bottom of their sweep, sharp, reflection is nice on the wither with only small ripples. Composition is nice, sharpness good, background excellent.
Would of wished for a little less distance for his reflection but the image is still very nice as is and fully worthy of a six.
Wonder how you do so well with such a small focal length.

This is a spectacular capture, and the reflection is extraordinary. The greens of the water provides a fantastic backdrop for this whole occurrence. Really nice image, and certainly has a storytelling aspect, as I wonder where he is going and for what. Probably to catch a fish but it must just be so neat to view the earth from the position of flight. Impressive!
