This is a beautiful shot simonka and I love the water drops on the petals.You did well on the composition of the photo and the focus is good but I think it would present much better if you just sharpened it up a bit.
I was not going to take away half a point for something that is very easy to change.

Very nice shot. The red of this rose is beautiful. The shot would be better if the rose was off-center a bit ("rule of thirds"). I like the lighting and the contrast. Thanks for the change of pace. It's fun, isn't it?

Thank you! I should have known better, in television, called looking room. I think I might fix that, and yes, it is fun, the work is in a different place.

wow wee !! what happened ! what a diversion , but I like it ! you knew I would ...I really like the ruby colour of the petals , and the drops od dew on them .. I see some think you should get rid of the background , the orangy red colour , I disagree , but what do I know . The orange tint in the background to me ,makes the ruby red of the rose POP ! AND adds dimension .. I think you should do a few more , for the fun of it ,by the way I can almost smell it , and less work for now ,right ?

Really think you did an excellent job. Great light and shadows, good moisture dropplets. like the DOF and the blurred back ground. only suggestion would be to back off a little on the exposure adjustments, and crop a bit tighter to remove the red background. I am not an expert though. Your image is great as is

Thank you for your good review, I agree with the cropping, (I am really out of my element here). I totally forgot about the thirds rule, which I am usually very aware of coming from a tv background.

What a surprise, coming from you. That is gorgeous. I love these colors. The droplets are looking outstanding on the dark burgundy. Need detail and texture on the rose and the drops. The focus zoom and blur of the background works perfect.
