I hope this doesn't have anything in it about how you have been feeling.I do like the bright and bold colors that you sed but under the buzzards the tree branches look a loke a couple of legs!!The face of the moon is comical to me.

LOL thanks Nancy at least you see the humor in it and no it had nothing to do with the way I've been feeling. I did the background and liked the color of the sky but had no idea where to go with it, so this is where it ended up LOL
and just for a laugh, I've heard that saying before on the tombstone so had to add it

This is really funny, the quote seems familiar, but its a great work of digital art. I really like the grass and the positioning of the tree and the gravestone. The vulture is a lovely dark twist.

I've heard this quote before , and a few others that I thought were funny, but since this was a picture that sort of just evolved so to speak, this particular quote was the only thing I could think of, couldn't think of anything witty of my own so I had to use an oldy but a goody LOL

thanks Pat for the great review and rating. the moon isn't pasted, that was made with a section program, then painted LOL
guess I could have made it brighter but really had no idea where I was going with this just as I do most of my work.

Before I review this, I have to tell you about a newspaper cartoon I used to keep outside my cube to warn people with stupid questions to stay away. I was a computer software engineer. It had two vultures sitting in a tree and one vultures turns to the other and says, "Patience my ass, I'm going to kill something". Your picture really reminded me of that with the vulture sitting in a tree. It is like the vulture is sorry it missed out on a dinner. Sorry, that is really "sick". But, why else would the vulture be sitting next to a tombstone? I too have warped sense of humor, but I do have to keep it in check. I only have one friend with whom I don't have to watch what I say. I'm so used to thinking before I respond that I do it automatically, except with her. I worked totally with men for so many years that I had to be careful, just the nature of the job. This really is funny. I don't know if I thought about it in the same way you were thinking about it, but that is how it struck me.

LOL you have the same sence of humnor as me, I didn't think to put in details about the vulture , I love your way of looking at it though, makes it even funnier. I love the comic strip you were talking about also, I need one like that.

Yep, I thought you might like the comic strip. Unfortunately it got misplaced a long time ago. I had it in 1982, almost 30 years ago, but I still remember exactly what it said and what it looked like. I can't remember what I did yesterday! Of course I'll be 68 in two weeks, so I'm not very likely to change! Take care. I'm about ready to post another photo.

I would have given you four stars for this but the joke isn't new, though it still makes me laugh, so first impact was my smile. You're right, it's an eye catching color for the sky and in fact, all the colors blend nicely. Good clarity and I like the way you've kept everything simple; (that's not to say it wasn't a lot of work). I'd like to have seen an edge to the gravestone down it's right side to make it more 3D, but it's kinda quirky, as is. Thanks for making me smile.

I've heard that saying many times thats why I used it. It was the first thing tha came ot my mind when zi had to put something on the tombstone. glad it still made you smile, that was my intentions, this was one of those weird pictures that i do without thinking which is 90% of my work LOL, this actually didn't take long at all, thats why the tree looks so weird, this was called boredome LOL
