what a picture perfect moment,
everything about this photo screams perfection, i love the blades of grass that are in focus, and love the DOF.

Beautiful picture of these lovely Buckeye butterfly standing on these cute flower.
These extraordinary butterfly have so lovely colors,from brown over orange to red and so nice "eyes" with little sparkles of blue in the middle.So nice butterfly with two great red sparkles on bought wings and triple eye on each.You make a great composition of these wonderful butterfly,standing on flower and surrounding with green leafs.

Great DOF, almost sharp wing tip to wing tip. Background is blurred somewhat, which is good. Nice if you could have got him to wait while you moved that one blade of grass but he probably would not have obliged:) point of interest is a 5. Very nice colors and comp. Good capture.

Thank you so very much! He was folding his wings fast. I was waiting for him to open. They don't hold still very long!

This is a wonderful close up of a butterfly. The colors of the butterfly are truly great. It is also pin sharp with very good details in the wings and body. Even the clover is nice and sharp. Excellent use of light. Perfect placement of the butterfly within the frame, and good cropping. All the greens are a perfect background. Well balanced with good DOFF. Good luck with the contest.
