Except for the center, it is pale. It takes a mental adjustment to accept that. A counter balance would be darkening the background - something you chose not to do. Another would be to matte and frame it with a contrasting color. The possibilities here lie in the imagination; there is no right or wrong with this kind of art because you already meet or surpass the standards.

A simple yet elegant image. This is a beautiful composition for a daisy and even with the flash it seems like you have used a black and White image with added yellow for the centre, which creates a kind of sin city look.
