The clarity and the detail here are incredible.
The lighting contrasts really brings the fly out in the image and highlights so many facets to it's body.

Very nice image. Regardless of what other images may be on this site I like this one. Insects are definitely hard to catch this close. Good lighting and good job cropping the image.

After seeing your other work this one doesn't quite crack five stars. Lighting was not optimal and perhaps the image was over sharpened, as textures in the foreground leaf are a little rigid? Thanks for sharing.

yea they can be a pain in the butt to capture but this framing is nice. It's a bit grainy but still nice angle on the fly and the border is really nice here.
