What a great shot! The detail is amazing. Great composition, colours are nice and the lighting is good. The flowers in bloom add nicely to the shot as well. Thanks for sharing this.

Pastel combination is very good. Lovely solid green and blue. Focus is excellent. Subject is jumps out at you, but if the butterfly was not displayed you have a great backup without being overbearing. Thanks for Sharing.

really classy and classic depiction, of this full on butterfly. many species are under threat and it's sure good to see a healthy example + the alien type balls, offer some background interest. a real work of not only beauty but clarity also.

Thank you so very much! Last year butterfly's was everywhere, this year they are scarce. I guess the severe cold last winter killed them.

A nice study from nature.
Good detail and natural colours.
The butterfly seems to be in good condition which is important. I am not keen on the blue background but we can't have every thing can we.It's a pity it didn't land further to the left. Mitch

Cool shot, this is a pretty butterfly and the flowers add a little to the composition. It is missing something though; it just doesn't cross the threshold into being a really dynamic piece. It is composed nicely; great tonal balance, nice contrast. The colors aren't very deep. It does come across a little bland. Especially considering this is a photograph of a butterfly and flowers. The details are good; you have a good focus here. But it isn't great. It just falls a little short in that area. Your cropping is perfect though; great balance of imagery.
Overall what you have with this piece is a work that is about as good as a photographer can do with what they have to work with. Everything you did was right; basically the scene itself just fell a little short in providing you with a truly awesome moment. Pat on the back for you; you got the most out of it with this shot.
