Shame about the other photos, but I daresay at one time or another we've all done it (I know I have and doesnt it hurt when you have to kick yourself!!)

I like the composition of this photo. The branches in the fore front draw my eye into the middle of the photo,or to the curve of the shoreline in the back. The texture of the raindrops really makes the picture.

Very nice and your whole day was definitely not a waste. Besides anytime we get out in nature is a blessing. Great DOF and clarity. Colors and lighting are very nice. I would have liked just a few less branches in the front but that may not have been possibly. The rain drops are nice eye candy. Good work.
