Those colours are really wow! Nice lighting and a good crisp image. The little red berry adds a little extra to the image and is a good contrast against all the green. Good luck with the contest

Very cute and interesting shot. the red berry is the centre of focus here and contrast the very well with the background of foliages. But the photo is a little small though. A good eye for detail.

I like the red berry (which on my screen is not dead centre) breaking up the different green colours and varied shapes of the leaves with also a slight touch of orange at the bottom. Lighting and focus very good. Great entry for the contest - good luck!

You clearly grasped the concept for the contest. The green clearly predominates the photo. The composition would be improved by shifting the camera a bit to move the red berry out of the very center of the frame. (This is called the "rule of thirds". You imagine the frame is divided into thirds and place your subject at one of the intersections of the vertical and horizontal lines.) The lighting and exposure are good, but your camera focused on the leaves, leaving the berry out of focus. Good luck in the contest.

I think what makes this work is the texture of the leaves behind the pop of red. To me, it helps balance out the almost overwhelming pop of color and allows the viewer's eye to move around the photo. I think maybe a close crop with the red berry a little to the right or left would have been interesting. And maybe a really, really tight crop on the berry and the leaves closest to it. Just other possible views of the same thing. It is still interesting and colorful to look at no matter the placement.
