Very nice macro. Visually interesting and good impact. The colors are very good and I love the uncluttered background. Focus and DOF seem to be good. Overall a good capture of a pretty butterfly.

I've seen a lot of butterfly shots, but I really like the originality of angle on this one -- The front part of the butterfly, captured in the act of sucking the nectar from the flower. Great focus and lovely lighting... I like the subtle touches of light on the antennae and legs. The limited palette of yellow and black against the blue background focus the attention on the details. Great work!

I've seen a lot of butterfly shots, but I really like the originality of angle on this one -- The front part of the butterfly, captured in the act of sucking the nectar from the flower. Excellent close up. The sharpness is great. The nice monotone background doesn't fight the butterfly for attention. A good choice of focal point to not put the main body of the critter dead center.

Love it! Wish I cold take some good ones like this! Butterflies are hard to approach and are only around certain parts of the year, so I praise your photograph that contains great focus, compositional value, and color.
