Great capture of the statue. B&w conversion works great for this - definitely adds to the image of a suffering man. Excellent framing and vignetting.

That's exactly what caught my eye, the intensity in the eyes and expression is almost scary...Excellent framing, normally I would say maybe a little more looking room, but not in this case, the focus of the viewer goes directly to the eyes and then finds the face...Excellent.

I see some great potential for making this into a scary looking man by digitally changing the eyes. Really a neat looking sculpture. You have captured a really neat looking picture with lots of interest.

Yes, I like the sculpture very much. I think Annie you might consider allowing his eyes to show more visibly. You can do this by going into Photoshop, going to Adjustments and from the drop down menu, choose Shadow/Highlight in it's default setting. The eyes will then be seen much more clearly. Please give it a try, I am certain you will like the result. Let me know. Bren

Thank you very much. I will consider, but am on holiday in Greece for 3 weeks. Still will bear it in mind.

Oh Annie, have a great time. I love Greece and I know you do as well. I leave for South Africa in late September, so I may miss your return. Bren

What a great sculpture. It is very expressive. It looks like grief with a bit of anger mixed in. Very well composed and focused.

This could be criticised as a copy of someone else's art. Your treatment of it has raised it far above a copy.I remember visiting the gardens many tears ago and was struck by the emotions captured by the sculptor. Mitch
