Looks like it is all of the above. Very moving sculpture. Nicely shot with good use of natural light. A pleasure to review

Nice capture of what looks to be a good sculpture. Your contrast was well done and it gives a lot of depth and detail to the shot.

The life likeliness of this capture is exceptional. Your capture seems the multiply the original impact. The angle is just right to show these amazing eyes but also the amazing texture of the material. Black and white and the vignetting are an excellent choice. I am not sure if the lighter areas are the work of the artist or the work of nature [watermarks] but they add even more drama to the face, especially captured your way.

This really is a very interesting scene. I agree with you about the amount of detail that is included in this sculpture. The B/W really suits the scene and your lighting and contrast are very good. Well done! :)

Very nice head shot. Nicely framed. Yes there is a certain look in his eyes. Thats a sign of a great sculpture, makes him look human, not like a statue. Maybe its determination? Like he's trying to finish the race? Great capture here. Thanks for sharing.

Wow I love this piece. The details is extraordinary appealing to the eye. It appears a bit soft at the lower left corner.

When I looked at this I thought anger. This is very unusual and a bit creepy. The sculpture is very detailed and true to facial structure. Nice job.
