Absolutely perfect up close and personal portrait. Amazing macro shot. Did you try to reduce noise? Picture might benefit a little from noise reduction, but regardless, it is great. I wish we could see the colorful wings too :-(

Robber Flies are just naturally friendly critters. That is of course unless you are their intended dinner:) Nice shot tack sharp focus, good composition and lighting. Nice blurred uncluttered background. All around good capture.

This is an excellent photo but creepy. The hairs all over this insect are just crystal clear and sharp. Weird shaped eyes too. Wow the body is amazing too.
