This is a great initial impact image. An eye opener. Some people have all the luck. Don't even have to get out of the car. A good candidate for the contest.

Thank you so very much! I rarely get out of the car, it works like a blind and I can get close without them flying!

You define pretty differntly than I do. :) Excellent detail. Excellent focus and color balance. I thought this was taken with a macro lens, it's so sharp. Nice job!

The picture itself though is stunning. This is the ULTIMATE close-up! DOF and lighting are both superb! You even caught the GLEAM in the eye.
