this is absolutely precious ! the snow , the sunflower shells in the birdies beak ! love this ! cropping is excellent in a square format , the colors are gorgeous , the exposure very nice ..the detail in it's feathers amazing ! I love this photograph ..

Nice female cardinal. If my Big Red didn't have a mate I would want to introduce to this one. She is beautiful. Impact is off the chart. Thank you for sharing.

What a great close-up! The detail in the feathers and eye is incredible and the color of the beak is stunning. The sunflower seed she's eating makes it really interesting. The focus and DOF are perfect too! I think you have a contest winner.
